React Native app development

How does AonHive use React Native?

React Native app development for cross-platform products with native-quality journeys.

Sevenco's rider and driver apps, and TripGlide, ship on React Native for iOS and Android. The screens are shared. Location that has to survive another app taking the screen, push, and store release stay on the platform side of the bridge.Discuss this stack

How we use it

Shared UI. Native where the phone demands it.

  1. 01

    Cross the bridge on purpose

A foreground service, a push token, and a store build are native. We do not reimplement them in JavaScript and hope the process stays alive.

  2. 02

    Keep money on the server

The phone can show a fare or a balance. Accept, payout, and checkout are server writes. A retry from the app cannot book or pay twice.

  3. 03

    Release the binary you tested

The pipeline that builds the binary is the one submitted to TestFlight and Play. A local archive that never ran in CI is not the release.
