Next.js development

How does AonHive use Next.js?

Next.js development for SEO-ready web products and content platforms.

Next.js is the web runtime when a page has to be fast and a write has to be true. A route is cached for how often its data changes. A mutation names the tag that must refresh. We do not cache a row that money or access depends on. On the Sevenco site the Mumbai service ring is read on the server and revalidated every hour. The map itself is a client component.Discuss this stack

How we use it

Cache only what may be stale.

  1. 01

    Pick the render per route

A public page can be static. A dashboard that follows one account stays dynamic. Mixing those without a boundary is how a person sees another account's data.

  2. 02

Invalidate the tag, not the site

A write names the tag for the record it changed. Unrelated routes stay cached. We check that a save shows up on the next read before the page ships.

  3. 03

Put the mutation on the server

A server action or route handler validates the input and writes once. The client sends the intent. It does not assemble the SQL.
